Privacy Policy

- Your recipes and logs are private to you.
- A recipe is only visible to others if you share it by link, and you can turn the link off at any time.
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics. Your data is never sold.
- Email privacy.bartendersbank@gmail.com to have your account and everything in it deleted.
Who runs this app
Bartender's ADHD Bank is a small, non-commercial app made by one person for friends. "I" and "me" below means the person who runs it. You can reach me at privacy.bartendersbank@gmail.com.
What the app stores
From Google, when you sign in. The app uses Sign in with Google. Google shares your name, email address, profile picture link and a Google account ID. These are used only to sign you in and, if needed, to contact you about your account. The app doesn't ask Google for anything else, such as your contacts, calendar or files.
What you enter.
- Your display name, which you choose when you first sign in.
- Your recipes, logs and custom lists (for example, your own glassware or base spirit options).
- The share links you create, and a copy of each shared recipe as it was when you shared it.
On your phone. The app keeps a copy of your data on your device so it works offline, plus a sign-in token so you stay signed in. This stays on your device until you sign out or clear the app's data.
Technical logs. The companies that run the app's servers (listed below) automatically record basic technical details, such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the time of each request, as part of running their services. I don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
Who can see your data
- Only you can see your recipes, logs and lists. Other users can't see them.
- Share links: anyone who has a link to a recipe you shared can see that recipe, including people without the app. Links can be forwarded, so treat them like any other link you send. A shared recipe shows its name, type, base spirits, ingredients, method, prep steps, glass, ice, garnish and tags, plus your display name and the date you shared it. Your notes, ratings, favorites, status and "made by" field are never shared.
- You can turn off a share link at any time, and deleting a recipe turns off its links. Once a link is off, it shows nothing.
- If someone saves a copy of a recipe you shared, that copy belongs to them. It stays in their account even if you later turn off the link or delete your recipe.
- Me: as the person who runs the app, I can technically access the database. I only do so when needed to keep the app working or to handle a request from you, such as deleting your account.
Companies that help run the app
Your data is handled by these service providers, only to run the app:
- Supabase stores the database and handles sign-in. Its servers are in the United States.
- Cloudflare hosts the app's web pages.
- Google provides Sign in with Google.
I don't sell your data or share it with anyone else, except if required by law.
Tip jar
The Venmo tip link takes you to Venmo, which is a separate service with its own privacy policy. If you send a tip, I see what Venmo shows anyone who receives a payment. The app itself receives nothing from Venmo.
Deleting your data
- Deleting a recipe or log in the app removes it from your view and your devices. A record of it stays in the database so it can't reappear on another device that was offline. Deleting your account removes these records too.
- Deleting your account: email privacy.bartendersbank@gmail.com from the email address you sign in with. I'll delete your account and everything in it (profile, recipes, logs and share links) and reply to confirm. Copies other people saved from your share links belong to them and aren't deleted.
- Deleted data may remain in the service providers' routine backups for a limited time before it's overwritten.
Age
Bartender's ADHD Bank is not intended for individuals under their country's legal drinking age.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). The database has access rules so that each account can only read and change its own data. No system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable care to protect what you store.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the date at the top. If a change affects how your data is used, I'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
